Easy grip scissors right hand

Round ended blades fitted with safety blade protectors.

Very lightweight, easy to use, only requiring gentle pressure between fingers and thumb, or fingers and palm of the hand to close the blades. Automatically reopens when grip is eased. Ideal for young children, those with restricted growth or for fine craft work. In most cases can be used in right or left hand. Blade Guard supplied for safe storage.

Scissor skills are important for the development of manual dexterity and to foster skills used everyday, such as holding a pen or getting dressed. Specialist scissors like these allow people to become independent or to regain independence (following an injury for example).

Please note that if a Right Handed child uses a Left Handed pair of scissors then the cutting line will be obscured. This can cause frustration. If there is a strong bias in the hand due to disability this will push the blades apart which with a poor quality product, or worn scissors, could cause the paper to slip between the blades.
